25 October 2020 — Imagine Scholar’s unique perspective on progressive education pedagogy has garnered international interest.

In 2019, our organization was shortlisted for the Reimagine Education K12 Education Award. In the company of globally-leading education thought leaders, including but not limited to MIT’s Micro Masters program, PwC, and Imperial College London, Imagine Scholar was a three-time award winner at the “Oscar’s of education”, taking home the following prizes:

  1. The “Gold” award in the Arts & Humanities discipline
  2. The “Silver” award for best education programs in the African region, and
  3. The “Silver” award for most innovative K12 education program globally
Imagine Scholar was a three-time award winner on a global stage

We are thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted for the K12 Award once again in 2020. Despite this year’s conference going digital, Imagine Scholar will showcase updates to our innovative programming, including unreleased conceptual shifts to our curriculum and our program’s lifecycle.

Associate Program Director and alumna, Thenjiwe Ndimande will represent Imagine Scholar at the awards, sharing her first-hand experience as a student and leader of our organization and networking with education pioneers from around the world.

Follow our social media pages on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn for the latest news on our award status and to stay up to date on Thenjiwe’s experience at the conference.
